エンターテインメント業界向けに、デジタルコンテンツ関連ビジネスを展開するシリコンスタジオ（本社：東京都渋谷区、代表取締役社長：寺田健彦）は、高度な光学的表現を可能にするポストエフェクトミドルウェア「YEBIS 3」が、インターグロー（本社：東京都中央区、代表取締役：竹内 茂樹）がPlayStation 4向けに提供する新作タイトル『セバスチャン・ローブ ラリー EVO』（開発：イタリア Milestone）に採用されたことを発表した。
「YEBIS」は、3D／2Dのグラフィックスに対し、グレア、被写界深度、モーションブラー、レンズエフェクト（光学シミュレーション）、フィルム／感光効果、カラーコレクション、アンチエイリアスなどを掛けることができるポストエフェクトミドルウェア。最新版となる「YEBIS 3」では、絞り開閉とレンズの収差、補正シミュレーションにより、これまでに無い写真のようなボケ味の再現が可能だ。羽根の枚数と円形絞りの組み合わせはもちろん、レンズ構成によってフォーカス前後で異なるカラーフリンジなど、様々な特徴をもつリアルなボケ味を表現できる。
