ボーンデジタルは、セミナー「ロン・ハズバンドが教える ストーリーを語るスケッチ ～スケッチとアニメーションの魔法～」（有料）を6月18日（土）に開催する。
アニメーション界のレジェンドであり、ディズニースタジオおよび各地のワークショップで指導者としても活躍するロン・ハズバンド氏による、1日限定のスケッチおよびアニメーションセミナー。セミナー前半はハズバンド氏によるアニメーションおよびスケッチの講義、後半はハズバンド氏と一緒にライブスケッチを行う。また、ハズバンド氏によるデモと解説に加え、希望者にはスケッチの添削フィードバックも行われる。丸ごと一日、ディズニーアニメーションの魔法の源を目にする機会だ。ハスバンド氏による日本初のスケッチセミナーを検討してみてはどうだろう。
Ron Husband, veteran animator of the Walt Disney Animation Studio will be holding a one day seminar on drawing, quick sketching and animation this June 18th 2016.
Mr. Husband will give a in-depth lecture about his experiences with the Walt Disney Animation Studio and how Disney put life and magic into their work. The lecture will be followed up by an intimate drawing workshop based around his book, "Quick Sketching".This will be Mr. Husband's first drawing seminar in Japan. ■内容（Seminar content）
・ハズバンド氏の紹介、ディズニーの研修プログラムの解説（約1時間）
・ディズニースタジオでのアニメーション制作、ディズニースタイルのアニメーション制作過程の紹介、ストーリーテリング手法などの解説（約1時間）
・基礎編：クイックスケッチとサムネイルドローイング、アニメーション、イラストレーションの相関関係説明（約1時間）
・ドローイングワークショップ：実際のモデルによるポーズのクイックスケッチの実技、参加者のスケッチへのコメント、フィードバック（約3時間）※参加者も一緒にスケッチを行う。
・質疑応答
・1st hour- introduction, personal history, Disney Trainee Program.
・2nd hour- my introduction to animation at the Disney Studio, the process of animation Disney style, storytelling Disney style.
・3rd hour- the Basics: relationship between Quick Sketching, thumbnail drawings, animation and illustration.
・Drawing Workshop- Quick sketching demonstration of life model poses. Feedback to the audiences.

＜プロフィール／Profile＞
ディズニーでの経験と日常的なトレーニングとしてのスケッチについて書かれた、ハズバンド氏の著作『ロン・ハズバンドが教えるクイックスケッチ』はアニメーションに生命を吹き込むためのトレーニングブックとして広く読まれている。アニメーションでの活躍に加え、子供向けの本や雑誌にイラストを提供したり、Cal-Arts（カルアーツ：カリフォルニア芸術大学）やGnomonスクールその他、世界各地のドローイングワークショップで指導をしている。ディズニーアニメーションスタジオでは、『ライオンキング』、『美女と野獣』、『アラジン』にアニメーターとして参加、名作『ファンタジア2000』、『アトランティス 失われた帝国』、『ノートルダムの鐘』ではアニメーションスーパーバイザーを務めた。
Based on his experience in the Disney Animation Studio, he wrote a book for animators titled "Quick Sketching with Ron Husband". This book is highly acclaimed and aquired large number of readers as a training book for animators who want to aquire magical power to give their characters life. Ron Husband was a supervising animator for Disney classics such as "Fantasia 2000","Atlantis the Lost Empire", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", as well as animating on "The Lion King", "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin".
